Christian has resided in Mahoning County her entire life. She graduated from Jackson-Milton Schools, attended YSU for three years. In 2016, after some time away from school to begin her family, she graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Before beginning her career at Columbiana County Children Services, Mrs. Combs completed internships at Early Intervention and Family Recovery.
Christian has worked in the child welfare system since 2006. Most of the families she has worked with were developing case plans to reunify with their children. In 2012, she began working in the Intake Unit of Children’s Services through Alternative Response. In this unit, she enjoyed serving a diverse group of people and enjoyed advocating for the families while finding services that would reduce the risks of abuse and neglect in the home. Recently, she began working at Cadence Care, where she will be a Family Coach in Trumbull County. She is looking forward to once again working with families in their homes.
