Southeast Ohio Regional Prevention Council - Funding Opportunity

The Southeast Ohio Regional Prevention Council, which includes Athens, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Pike, Ross, Scioto, Vinton and Washington County, is offering multiple awards of up to $10,000.00 per organization to deliver Parent Café programming by June 30, 2020 in one or more of the counties of the region. 

The Southeast Council leads local prevention efforts for the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund (OCTF).  The mission of OCTF is to prevent child abuse and neglect through investing in strong communities, healthy families and safe children.  The Voinovich School at Ohio University (OU) serves as the regional prevention coordinator for the Council.  

Funding applications are due by Friday April 10, 2020 to OU via email to preventioncoordinator@ohio.edu.  


About $30,000 is available for the delivery of Parent Café programming through June 30, 2020.  Contracts will be issued for reimbursement of actual expense in the delivery of Parent Café. Reimbursement may occur monthly and will be paid to each award recipient upon submission of an invoice and supporting documentation of expenses.

Organizations selected for funding will enter into a contract with OU and OCTF. For a sample of the contract/scope of work and copies of forms required for contracting with OU and OCTF, email preventioncoordinator@ohio.edu by April 10, 2020.
