Nicole Sillaman joined the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund as a program manager in 2014. At the Trust Fund, Ms. Sillaman works with both statewide and local partners to implement child abuse and neglect prevention programming. She also serves as the Project Manager for several Trust Fund initiatives, which include human trafficking prevention, the Strengthening Families Framework Learning Networks, enterprise grants management, child well-being data dashboard, to name a few.
Prior to the Trust Fund, Ms. Sillaman worked at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for seven years as a program coordinator in physician medical education. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, as well as her Master of Business Administration at The Ohio State University.
Outside of work, Ms. Sillaman has been active in the Columbus community by being selected as a previous member of the Chase Gen Y Leadership Project, sponsored by the YWCA. She also served as a 2013-2014 Albert Schweitzer Fellow, implementing a mentoring program at Dress for Success Columbus, and now serves on the fellowship advisory board.
Ms. Sillaman is passionate about the Trust Fund’s mission because she gets to come to work every day at an agency whose core mission is to strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect. It is oftentimes hard work, but just knowing that the Trust Fund has made a difference in at least one family’s life makes it worthwhile.
