Lindsay Williams

Lindsay Williams joined the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund as Executive Director in October 2018.

Ms. Williams is a two-time graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work degree. She is a Licensed Social Worker and received her Certification in Human Services Leadership through The Ohio State University.

She has over 15 years of experience in the field of child welfare. Her prior experience includes: volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA/GAL); working as a child welfare caseworker; supervisor; program administrator; business analyst for the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS); and program manager overseeing the development and implementation of a program aimed at improving the safety response for high-risk child welfare cases.

Ms. Williams is a member of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Office of Families and Children, Child and Family Services Review planning committee; the Office of Families and Children Child Fatality Review Committee; and is an active member of Ohio’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Advisory Team, for which she co-chairs the Statewide CQI Community subcommittee.

Ms. Williams is passionate about the Trust Fund’s mission because every day, an estimated four to eight children in the United States die as a result of child abuse or neglect at the hands of their parents or caregivers.* As Ohio's sole, dedicated public funding source for child abuse and neglect prevention, the Trust Fund is on the forefront of child abuse and neglect prevention activities throughout the state. She believes that by investing in strong communities, healthy families, and safe children we can raise public awareness and work together as a community to prevent or reduce the prevalence of child abuse or neglect among Ohio’s children and families.
