Dr. Kynetta McFarlane is a board member for the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund.
Dr. McFarlane is a licensed clinical psychologist for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She specializes in pediatric psychology with a particular focus on providing trauma-focused treatment and psychological assessments to children and adolescents.
Dr. McFarlane graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She earned her Master of Arts and Psy.D in clinical psychology from Argosy University, DC. She completed an internship in child and adolescent behavioral health and fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Dr. McFarlane has practiced Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence based therapy, in rural, urban, and suburban settings as well as in the home, school and office. She also has extensive training in group therapy and has conducted trauma-focused group therapy in a day treatment program and a therapeutic camp setting.
