Kimberly P. Jordan

Kimberly P. Jordan is a member of the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund Board.

She has been an attorney for 17 years. Her primary area of focus has been serving kids and families who are in crisis, first as a legal aid lawyer in Chicago and Cincinnati, and now in Columbus.

Since 2011, she has been at The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, where she directs the Justice for Children Clinic and supervises the Greif Fellowship in Juvenile Human Trafficking. Students in the clinic represent children in delinquency, child welfare, and immigration matters. The Greif Fellow represents children who have been identified as victims of human trafficking.

Ms. Jordan is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Juvenile Justice Alliance, a board member of the Central Ohio Association of Juvenile Lawyers, and a certified trainer for the National Juvenile Defender Center Project “Juvenile Training Immersion Program.” She has also served on the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Trafficking in Children Workgroup.

Ms. Jordan received a Bachelor of Science from Xavier University and law degree from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Ms. Jordan is passionate about the Trust Fund’s mission because she has worked with hundreds of children who have been involved with public children services agencies. Many families simply need additional supports in the community in order to avoid family separation. She is excited to be involved with an organization that focuses on prevention and support efforts in order to support healthy families.
