State Senator Stephanie Kunze is the Chair of the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund Board.
Sen. Kunze is currently serving in her first term in the Ohio Senate. As a legislator, she takes a special interest in infant mortality. She serves as co-chair of the Infant Mortality Commission and played a key role in the passage of legislation aimed at reducing the alarming infant mortality rate in Ohio during her two terms as a State Representative.
Senator Kunze has been appointed by Senate President Larry Obhof to serve on the Family Stability Commission; Governor’s Executive Workforce Board; Home Visiting Consortium; and the Commission on Minority Health. She also serves as the Chairwoman of the Higher Education committee and as a member of the Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources; Finance; Health, Human Services & Medicaid; Insurance & Financial Institutions; Rules and Reference; Transportation, Commerce & Workforce and Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review committees.
Sen. Kunze is passionate about the Trust Fund’s mission because as a member of the Ohio General Assembly, it is her priority to ensure that Ohio’s youngest citizens are safe and thriving in strong, healthy communities.
As a member of the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund Board, she is committed to supporting resources and programming that are being funded in communities to help Ohio’s families learn to care for their children and to ensure that resources are in place to prevent child abuse and neglect across the state of Ohio.
