The April 2022 kickoff event was be held as a virtual event on April 7, 2022
This April, we are asking our partners and friends to join the Ohio Children's Trust Fund by recognizing the role that #EverydayOhioHeroes play in the lives of children. Through this campaign, we are celebrating the superpowers inherent within local individuals, organizations and communities. This April, #EverydayOhioHeroes are being called upon to “Help Create Positive Childhood Experiences, That Last A Lifetime.”
OCTF was happy to welcome Mary Kreitz, Trauma Therapist and Training Director at Child Adolescent Behavior Health, as our keynote speaker for the event! Ms. Kreitz has a master’s degree in community counseling from the University of Akron and is certified as a trauma and loss specialist by the National Center for Trauma and Loss in Children. She is also a trained provider of Parent Child Interaction Therapy. OCTF is excited to spotlight Mary's presentation how Positive Childhood Experiences and their connection to resiliency help to mitigate the trauma associated with ACEs.
During the event we honored the winners of the #EverydayOhioHerores contest from communities across Ohio.
