Diettra Engram joined the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund as a program manager in July 2020. Diettra looks forward to working in support of two regional councils and with the Trust Fund team to fully transition into her role and help balance the distribution of the organization’s important work.
Ms. Engram is a native of Akron, OH and has always found a way to be of service to others. She cemented her passion for serving and empowering youth after moving to Long Island, NY where she found herself working in the non-profit space.
When Diettra returned to Ohio, she found her way back to the non-profit space and it was a great match. Ms. Engram provided college access programming for high school youth as well as supports around college readiness and postsecondary transitions for educators and administrators serving youth and families across Summit County.
Ms. Engram earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Capital University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Akron. Outside of work, she is active in the community and currently serves on the board of Maroon Arts Group, a non-profit arts organization.
Prior to joining the Trust Fund, Ms. Engram worked for JPMorgan Chase in the Executive Office for Card Services. Ms. Engram enjoys learning new things and appreciates the knowledge she gained at Chase. She is thrilled to return to a role that feels in alignment with her purpose.
Ms. Engram is passionate about the Trust Fund’s mission because she’s witnessed the amazing things children/youth accomplish in the face of very challenging circumstances. She is excited to work toward a future where youth in Ohio have the freedom and the supports to actualize their full potential because their parents and communities that pour into them have the opportunities and resources needed to live in dignity and to be whole.
